Combine with MARC INBANE
Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Trim the wick short (a few millimeters) before lighting. Allow the candle to burn long enough the first time for the entire top layer to melt; this will ensure it burns evenly thereafter. Do not place it in a draft to prevent smoking and uneven burning.
