SPF 30 means you can stay in the sun 30 times longer without burning than without sunscreen. So, if you normally burn after 10 minutes, our SPF 30 Sun stick will protect you for 30 x 10 minutes, or 5 hours. However, no matter how well protected you are, we still advise you to:

Avoid the sun when it is at its strongest.
Preferably keep babies and young children out of the sun completely.
Do not expose sunburned skin to the sun.
Reapply every few hours, as even the best UV filter will lose its effectiveness after a few hours.
Apply generously before sun exposure and reapply regularly. Avoid the intense midday sun. Too much sun is dangerous, even when using a sun protection product.
Avoid contact with eyes and clothing.
You can apply your makeup over the sun stick, but don't forget that even the best UV filters only work for a few hours.
